La primera parte abarca el período entre 1799 y 1947. La segunda parte profundiza en lo ocurrido en 1948, en la limpieza étnica y en la expulsión de 800.000 palestinos que se convirtieron en refugiados, y que actualmente han pasado a ser 5 millones en todo el mundo.

Unique file footage and accounts from Israeli, Palestinian and British historians combine to tell this extraordinary history, that of the Palestinian catastrophe (al nakba), which continues to shape Middle Eastern affairs today. The first part covers the period from 1799 to 1947. The second part delves deeper into what happened in 1948, the ethnic cleansing and the expulsion of 800,000 Palestinians turned refugees, who now number 7 million worldwide.
