Tres hermanas palestinas cristianas que han perdido sus tierras y estatus tras la guerra de 1967 no son capaces de enfrentarse a la dolorosa nueva realidad que se les ha impuesto, así que se encierran en su mansión y continúan viviendo en su cápsula del tiempo. Cuando su joven sobrina, Badia, entra en sus vidas, desafía su rutina y le da la vuelta a sus vidas, acaba con el silencio mortal en el que viven.

Three Palestinian Christian sisters who’ve lost their land and status due to the 1967 war with Israel aren’t able to face the painful new reality that’s been imposed on them, so they lock themselves away in their big house and continue to live in a time warp. When their young niece, Badia, walks into their lives, she challenges their stifling routine and turns their world upside down, obliterating the deadly silence they lived in.
