Parte del conjunto de cortos Suspended Time. “La leyenda cuenta que una mujer romana dirigía el burdel más grande de la región donde ahora está ubicada Moqata’a. Los comandantes del ejército romano iban allí y hablaban de asuntos militares. Con el tiempo, la madame y las mujeres del burdel se enteraban de todos los secretos de la armada. El jefe militar romano ordenó destruir el burdel y asesinar a las mujeres. La leyenda cuenta que durante mucho tiempo se escucharon voces venir del lugar de la masacre. Nadie se atrevió a acercarse”.

Part of the short film compendium Suspended Time. “Legend has it that a Roman woman used to run the largest brothel in the region on the site where today’s Moqata’a is. The Roman army commanders would meet there and discuss army matters. Eventually, the mistress and the women of the brothel learned all the army secrets. The Roman governor ordered the brothel to be destroyed and all the women were brutally killed. The legend goes on to say that for a long time shrieks and voices could be heard coming out of the site of the massacre. No one dared to go near it.”.
