Cuando un equipo de cine palestino decide evitar un puesto de control militar cerrado al tomar una remota carretera local, el paisaje político se aclara y la mundana brutalidad de la ocupación militar separa poco a poco a los pasajeros. Como un poema visual y una narrativa, “Todo son impedimentos” cuestiona irónicamente la responsabilidad artística y política de hacer cine, mientras se habla de la fragmentación de un pueblo.
When a Palestinian film crew decides to avert a closed checkpoint by taking a remote side road, the political landscape unravels, and the passengers are slowly taken apart by the mundane brutality of military occupation. Both a visual poem and a narrative, like twenty impossibles wryly questions artistic responsibility and the politics of filmmaking, while speaking to the fragmentation of a people.
