El aeropuerto de Jerusalén, en la carretera que va a Ramala, está ocupado por el ejército israelí desde 1967. Ahora es una carretera cortada junto a uno de los principales checkpoints de acceso a Cisjordania. A través de testimonios recogidos en el paso de Qalandia, Nahed Awwad nos acerca a conocer este lugar, al que en los años 1950 y 60, cuando los palestinos podían viajar libremente, llegaban vuelos internacionales.
The Jerusalem Airport, on the road that goes to Ramallah, is occupied by the Israeli army since 1967. Now this road and one of the main accesses to West Bank checkpoints are cut. Through testimonies gathered in the passage of Qalandia, Nahed Awwad brings us to learn more about this place where, in the 1950’s and 60’s, when the Palestinians could travel freely, international flights arrived here.
